Red and yellow, black and white - Taste the Grainbow aims to be as diversely delicious and heartily wholesome as it is colorful. With high quality adjuncts like red wine, turmeric, flax seed, quinoa, chocolate, and more we will explore a diverse spectrum of nutrient-packed deliciousness over the course of the 6 week series. Large, miche-style boules made with 100% organic flour, including the whole grains fresh-milled in house. No unpronounceable ingredients.
 

Week of 5/2) Think Pink (Red wine and black pepper)
Flavanoids and flavor, my friends!
 

Week of 5/9) Speckled Spudmuffin (Sweet potato & Chia seeds)
A regular SLP favorite enhanced further by Omega-3 rich chia seeds.
 

Week of 5/16) Chakra Bread (Turmeric)
One of the first wild-side recipes I dared offer the public, Chakra bread has been itching for a comeback. With the anti-inflammatory benefits of the turmeric that makes this boule glow like the sun, there's no better time than now.
 

Week of 5/23) Flaxy Lady (Flax seeds)
An Omega-3 powerhouse, flax seeds are an excellent source of the essential alpha-linolenic acid. They also happen to be really good in bread.
 

Week of 5/30) The Mighty Quin (Quinoa)
It took me a long time to figure out that there's no such thing as 'kwin-no-wah', and that 'keen-wah' is how you pronounce this superseed native to South America. No matter what I called it, it's packed with protein, B vitamins, magnesium, manganese and phosphorus. And the play on words makes for a mischievous name, how to say it is anyone's guess.
 

Week of 6/6) Mochanotion  (Espresso/chocolate/cocoa nibs) + TBD Bonus Item
This will be a spittin' image of the delicious bean to bar 2-way chocolate boule that capped off the Resolution Dissolution series earlier this year (pictured on the left) - but with a shot of espresso to take it still deeper and darker.
